Another fun Sat. night at the movies with the Shug. Actually I did go to a movie tonight and saw Evan Almighty. It was so cute & wholesome, really a wonderful flick. We were really enjoying it until a young girl in front of us started vomiting. Her family all got up afterwards & left and so did all of us that were sitting within 10 feet of them. It wasn't long before the entire theatre just reeked. But other than that, it was a fun night:) BATMAN is the answer. Indiana Jones, Look who's Talking, and Back to the Future II were the other top money makers in 1989.

It was Batman and I hated that movie-this coming from a cultish comic fan. Nicholson was so over the top that he spoiled the movie for me. My favorite from that year was probably Parenthood or Driving Miss Daisy of the big films. I am more a small indy film person tho.

In 1989, my son was 3 yrs old and already a huge fan of BATMAN. This addiction involved his having the batmobile, the batcave, all the figures, the movies, clothing, etc.
Yup..in 1989, BATMAN was the top grossing movie.

Thanks for another fun trivia contest.

The movie was Batman, although a great movie, I thought the #2 movies was better - Indiana Jones (hunky Harrison). Thanks for the blog candy offer and the blast from the past!
